The objective behind Martinborough Unmasked was to put the beautiful, boutique wine village of Martinborough on the ‘must do’ itinerary for every rugby fan visiting during the Rugby World Cup. The event is being held over the two days following the Quarter Finals in Wellington so that fans can head over the hill from Wellington to the sunny Wairarapa on their way north to the Semi Finals.
Some of the vineyards and producers involved do not normally open their cellar doors to the public so this is truely a unique opportunity to meet the real people responsible for this award winning wine region. The sneak peeks are behind the scenes experiences, each designed by the individual operators and have never been offered to the public before.
